Every material the world is made of, with the colour Block::colour gives the renderer and the years a course stands (Block::durability): thatch a generation, daub and timber a lifetime, brick a few, cut stone outlives the street it is on. That is why a fourteenth-century town has been rebuilt four times by 1800 and its church has not. The viewer's styles can override any colour; the simulation cannot.
